Founder of Happy Thoughts Fitness, Jesica is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has resided in Lancaster, CA. for over twenty years. Jesica was a Master Trainer at The Camp Transformation Center (CTC) in Lancaster, CA, from 2014 through 2015, and a well-respected active trainer with proven results

for over eight years before opening her HT Fitness Training Facility. 

She has instructed many Zumba as well as group fitness classes at gym

facilities throughout the Antelope Valley. Her fitness knowledge and 

training skills are utilized on a daily basis with Jesica’s clientele.


Jesica's clients range in age from 12 to 82! She enjoys helping her

clients discover the many benefits of strength training. Strength and

resistance exercises preserve and build muscles while shedding fat.

These forms of training also "rev up" metabolism, increase energy,

and improve balance and flexibility.


Prior to the CTC, Jesica taught group fitness classes at other facilities for 3 years, and has been a certified active personal trainer for 8 years. Jesica, has a background in various sports, including college basketball (2007-2011) and the LFL (lingerie football league, 2012-2013). Jesica also actively competes in bikini/figure body competition’s, and has participated in numerous obstacle Races. Jesica’s goal is to provide education and awareness that will inspire and motivate you to have fun while attaining your health and fitness goals.

My fitness journey is one that many of you may be able to relate to.  I continue to put my story out there as a way to connect with others and, perhaps, help another person who wants to change their lifestyle.  My journey started 4 years ago when I decided I could no longer go on being overweight, tired, and unhappy.  I am a licensed physical therapist.  I was promoting wellness and health in my every day interactions with patients, but I wasn't living that lifestyle.  I also had so much guilt being a working mother and wife that I denied my own needs in favor of taking care of my family when I wasn't working.  This resulted in me being sedentary, out-of-shape, and miserable.  I felt a disconnect between my profession as a PT and how I looked and felt.  


I knew it wouldn't be long before I developed chronic health

problems such as type-II diabetes and high blood pressure.  I also

knew I could end up like the many patients I served as a PT, in so

much pain they can't get out of bed and unable to lose weight

without being able to move.  I made a commitment to myself four

years ago and I'm still at it!  I am in engaged in life and not just

sitting on the sidelines.   I am happy to say I am a Spartan, fitness

competitor, and now a Strong by Zumba certified instructor.  I think

it's important to have accountability to keep yourself going.  Sign up

Hayyyyy everyone! My name is Leigh-Anne and I am a CPT. Plain ol’ personal trainer works too! I am also certified in Zumba. My 9-5 however I am an LVN working for an Orthopedics specialty.

I got my license in 2016 with NASM and have been training since! I have

mentored under Jesica the owner of HT Fitness for about 6-7years but have

been active my whole life. I’ve always played sports and worked out for

fun and personal goals.

Some of my achievements and accomplishments have mostly been through

HT Fitness. I found the motivation to become a Personal Trainer, I’ve

competed in multiple competitive bikini competitions through NPC and

Muscle Contest. Recently this past year I placed 1st twice and 2nd in two

different shows which qualified me for a national show. I’ve also

participated in numerous obstacle course races such as Ragnar, Spartan,

and a Tough Mudder. 

My love for fitness is in my heart,bones, and soul now. It’s become a lifestyle for me to always stay healthy,fit, and it allows an outlet for stress or frustration.

As much as I love fitness my true goal is to help others find a balance with fitness and life. I believe that you don’t have to be a die hard at the gym to accomplish your goals and stay healthy.

HT Fitness built my platform that I now stand on and with Jesica’s help I feel accomplished and I’m ready to spread the love to whoever else is ready to be inspired,motivated, and pushed beyond their comfort zones!

I had come to a point in my life where I was just tired of being tired! Since I can remember, I have always been overweight. I was always told “Being big runs in the family.”, “You were born chubby.”, “Don’t try to change what’s already in you.” It wasn’t until the summer of 2013 when I had decided that enough was enough! I was topping the scale at 263 pounds, fitting into a very tight size 20, sick and super miserable. I had to do something in order to feel good about myself and to get my health under control; diabetes and hypertension run in my family and I was already having issues with high blood sugar and high blood pressure. I did not want to tie myself down with taking medications for the rest of my life. I started doing light cardio during my lunch hour with a group of coworkers and cut down on eating out every day. By

the time the summer of 2014 hit, I was

already down 30 lbs.

In September 2014, I signed up to

participate in a weight loss challenge

with my daughter. That is where I met 

Jesica. The workouts we did were ones

I had never done before. I remember

going home crying sometimes thinking

I was not going to be able to finish.

The accountability from the program

and motivation and push I got from 

Jesica was what I needed at that time

to finish successfully. I lost a total of

42 pounds with those challenges and

have kept going since. To this date, I have lost a total of 66 lbs. and fit into a size 12. I’ve had my ups and downs along my journey, but one thing for sure is I have not given up. I’m still a work in progress and continue chipping away at my body. I have done many “firsts” along the way: completed numerous obstacle course races, half-marathons and, OMG, even got certified to teach Strong by Zumba! Never did I ever imagine I would be considered an athlete, even more so, a certified fitness instructor.

I’m happy to be part of the Happy Thoughts Fitness Team! This has been a life changing experience for me. The best part is being able to share my experience, motivate others to reach their goals and assure them that with hard work and patience, anything is attainable in life; personal and professional!

Poula was born in Van Nuys, California and was raised in Palmdale since she was two years old. She grew up with the sport of boxing thanks to her dad who first introduced her to the sport, since he opened his very own boxing gym. With her dad as her coach she started her amateur career at 9 years old and developed a 36(W)-2(L) record throughout Highschool, which took her as far as the Olympic trails. Since then, after Highschool Poula got a job as a boxing instructor at ClientTrainers in

Lancaster. Poula did that for a little

over a year then decided to take

boxing to the next level and turn



Juggling both her day job

currently as a technician and her

love for the sport, and now

currently a boxing instructor for

HT Fitness in the afternoon, she has

been able to build a undefeated

record of 6-0. Poula’s goal as an

instructor is to teach people the

basics of boxing in a fun, energetic

class and to be able to walk out of

class knowing you received a great

workout and that you learned how throw a proper punch.
